Productivity thy name is Walrus!!! I have just put the finishing touches to the Picture Round for the December Sunday In-Quiz-ition meaning I have all seven remaining editions fully written and ready for proof checking (honestly, I do it properly sometimes), advert adding and music sorting. That's the plan for my next week off work as well as getting them all recorded and put to bed.
However, tomorrow is a big day as I will be finalising the recording of the 8 Harry Potter quizzes ready for a full magical weekend release of 2 days. They are going to drop everywhere!!!
The rest of the plan over the next 2 weeks is to write & record June, July & August content for the two podcasts and get that all uploaded too. 3 Star Wars quizzes still to write and all 9 to then record and they should be dropping around November I think.
Loads of festive content underway too and I am hoping to get far enough ahead that I can finally take 3-4 weeks off to spend some time writing the kids stories and polishing up the ones I have already laid out.

I have not forsaken you! Well that's been a manic couple of weeks. Fear not the content train is still on the tracks. The second episode of The Smarty Pants Session lands tomorrow as we continue our geographical theme during May and go Island Hopping.
The Harry Potter (book) quizzes are still on track for a May release and should be landing from around the 15th...ish π€
Got a few other bits and pieces that will land on the website (and possible on the socials too) over the next couple of months as the second (and final for 2026) big release will be the 10 Star Wars quizzes later in the year (October is the current plan).
Working on a huuuuuuuge amount of festive content as well, so December could very well be the biggest quiz month ever!
Enough for now, I shall try not to abandon you for so long next time. Don't forget to like, follow and subscribe to the podcasts and socials to catch every episode and a wee share never upsets me either.

Finally a little ahead of the game at last. All regular May content recorded and most of uploaded too with the remainder getting sorted over the weekend. Can't wait to unleash the new video Quizcast - The Smarty Pants Session on Friday 1st May 11am on Spotify, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & TikToK!!!
Just 6 Harry Potter book quizzes left to record along with the Potter Picture Special. All of these are landing in May.
Absolutely loving some of the festive plans (it'll be here in no time π€£) I have lined up for you all across all of the channels.
Enough for now and keep an eye out for an new website section coming soon which will cover everything that's coming in the near future as well as a peek at what's in the works too.

Finally got the Harry Potter book quizzes finalised, polished up and ready to be recorded along with the bonus Harry Potter Picture Quiz (movies) also getting a makeover and a re-record for May release. Smarty Pants getting recorded ready for the May release too with June & July planning well underway too. Two more big franchise releases planned for 2026 - Harry Potter movies & Star Wars (yep all 9 of the main movies!). The festive planning kicks off in the next 2 months as I have many incredible ideas that I am hoping to focus on alongside the regular content to make it a December to Remember. Only downside is that I think I am only going to be able to get one more Wrestlemania season quiz in as an extra - it will be the New Generation Era and should land sometime next week in the SPORT section.

Happy Easter Quizzticles. A wee update after a very productive evening. The first of the WrestleMania season quizzes landed on the site tonight so check out the Golden Era quiz in the SPORT section. Finalises all the Potter quizzes including new music and the are ready to be recorded over the next couple of weeks before hitting pretty much everywhere!!! Speaking of Potter....I finally got the Beatrix Potter quiz recorded and that should drop into the LITERATURE section in the next few days as well.

Hmmmm, I'm starting to make this a slightly more regular thing. Got myself well ahead in the podcast game and have actually fully recorded April & May with just some tweaks to make before getting them uploaded. I have even knocked out the first two episodes of the new video podcast THE SMARTY PANTS SESSION. I was originally going to have it as a Spotify exclusive buuuuuuut, I am now planning on having it land on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & TikTok as well all things going as planned.
Still hoping to get the wrestling content out early April but it has taken a bit of a back seat due to work and life and stuff π€£. Fear not, it will still get a release at some point. The Potter stuff is looking good and bang on track for a May drop on all channels.
Really enjoyed playing about with the AI music tools to create some new quiz themes that should start appearing on all content over the next few months (cannot wait to do the music for the Festive season π§βπ.
Well, that's enough for now as I only popped on to upload the Sunday Quiz for March (they always hit the website at the end of the month).

Back again so soon! Well, as I am looking to finally get round to writing and releasing the 8 Harry Potter movie quizzes around the festive season, I figured I would have a look at the first website quizzes I did. The Harry Potter book editions...oh my word they look more than a little bit dated. I have taken them down for a full refresh, rejig and re-record. They need the attention that they deserves and I will have them back looking more magical than ever by May at the latest as I plan a full re-release on the site as well as across social channels too.
Starting to get a bit ahead on things again too, this hopefully means a few more random website quizzes coming too. There is still the plan to celebrate Wrestlemania season in April with 4 quizzes to celebrate the various eras of WWE/WWF for a bit of nostalgic fun.
Enough for now. Stay tuned for podcasts, quizzes, nonsense and maybe even a little bit of light musical relief as well.

Wow, forgot how long since I was on here! The blog obviously, I almost live on the site and socials π€£.
I have been doing a whole heap of work on a new podcast that should be dropping its first episode on Friday 1st May at 11am. Can't wait to unleash THE SMARTY PANTS SESSIONS on the world. The Spotify version will even be a video podcast. Each month I will pick a new topic and the weekly episode all feed into that topic and there will also be some companion pieces for the website and maybe even the social channels.
I had a wee revamp of the TRIVIAL TUESAY podcast as well. Each episode now focuses on a national day that is celebrated on the day of each episode. From the sensible to the sublime, the rad to the ridiculous, it shall all be covered. Same 5 questions, still a fact and my little slice of inspiration as always.
Finally got a better start on sorting all of the old archive stuff going back over 5 years (what's survived at least). They are all basically numbered at last and clock in at a solid 108 quizzes!
The next stage will be to update them to the new formats, adverts and then the joy of recording them all, although I will no doubt have some duplicate stuff in there and even merge some together as well.
Starting to bore myself now but I shall leave you with a couple of other stuff updates. The Stories with Simon may see a return at a later date but for now I am focussing some of my time on my own writing of The Pip & Pepper series of stories. I am hoping to have something later in the year even just in e-book and audio format with a wee build for Christmas and the return of the festive tales.
I have also been playing around with some AI audio software (now, now, no booing, I still support proper artists) and it's been a lot of fun putting my own thoughts and ideas into song (no musician) so I might just end up popping some stuff onto the website and YouTube.

Well, what happened to February!!! It lasted about 5 days.
March Sunday Quiz all sorted and ready to land tomorrow over on Facebook & YouTube.
The Disney Special released and lots more great website stuff being worked on too.
If all that wasn't enough, I have also started early planning for a new Podcast series that I originally planned to replace Trivial Tuesday but now think I will run alongside it as it's going to be different enough whilst still retaining all the questions, facts and positivity but in a fun new way.
3 live in person events already lined up for this year and all relevant info and stuff will be shared once dates and stuff is set in stone.

Got all of the February Trivial Tuesday episodes uploaded and ended up working on a new Millionaire special. Really pleased with it and expect to do a few of these a year as a fun way to do a general knowledge quiz. Planning on this on for early March but knowing me, I'll probably release it sooner. Nearly got the Disney special all sorted (just one more recording to do). Thought I would look at also doing another Catchphrase special or two and ended up creating a new master slideshow for this one too.
Well, I figured that's enough for a couple of days....yeah, though I should maybe do some planning for a live actual me in person quiz landing about half way through the year...and that's the first two rounds written, animated, answers prepped and ready and looking pretty dang sharp. Looking forward to this one as it's in aid of an incredible local cause which can be found on out In Support page. The Liam Muckle event is going from strength to strength and can't wait to see everything the team have lined up for this year.
I will have a full programme for the rest of February, all of March and April out in the next week as well as a general what's coming for the rest of 2026 as it currently stands...before I add even more great and did I mention FREE content to the site an social channels.

Finally got the the big Disney Special written and ready to record for release later in the month. Also got the full 2025 Trivial Tuesday Podcast archive uploaded to the site (Podcast - Archives) and a section ready for 2026 too, which I will probably upload each month.
Plenty planned for the next few months with a few reposts of existing quizzes on Social Media to help drive a little extra traffic along with plenty of new goodies as well.
Next big quiz job will the the Harry Potter Movies, The Hobbit Movies and the Star Wars Trilogy errr trilogy all for release in the second half of 2026.
Already planning for a couple of live with real people quizzes in July and November and as always I will have a full and fun festive line-up ready for the end of the year as well.

A slight delay to the Return of the King quiz will see it land by this weekend (c'mon, you know I love the odd delay π€£)
On a brighter note.... the DISNEY SPECIAL is fully written and ready for recording. Breaking it down into a four parter to avoid watcher burn out.
Looking to release them over the course of a few days towards the end of February unless I get them recorded and finalised a little sooner.
Prepping the final touches for the February podcast episodes as well ready to record and upload for release over the month.
Lots lined up for the next few months as well as my ongoing (mammoth) task of getting all past quizzes added to the archive folder ready for release.

The second Lord of the Rings movie trilogy all sorted and ready for recording and release on Monday 19th January.
Put out a wee announcement for a Disney Special for late February/early March so, as I have the February Sunday In-Quiz-ition written as well as the rest of January content ready for release that will now be the main focus alongside preparing the February episodes of Trivial Tuesday.
Really feel that having just one Facebook/YouTube (which also goes onto the website anyway!) quiz per month is giving me a better use of time to grow the website content as well as work on more stories from Pip & Pepper. I am even remembering to keep adding to the blog...see how long that lasts π₯΄.

The quizzing just keeps getting more bountiful!Β
Planning well underway for the February In-Quiz-ition where it is quite possible that love could be in the air alongside a land where the sun rises?
Website content continues to grow after the release of South Park, Roald Dahl and Football team nicknames specials in the last few days.
Load upcoming for the remainder of the month. As well as reposts of our Friends, Simpsons and Retro Kids TV specials, you will also have a Game Show push as Blockbusters, Bullseye & Millionaire all get a repush of the original quizzes before the new editions start landing from March.
BUT - that is most certainly not all....our first SPECIAL SERIES since the Harry Potter books over a year ago finally launches on Monday 12th January with THE LORD OF THE RINGS (Movies). Each of the 3 quizzes is 20 questions and will cover a movie per edition.
That should be enough to whet your appetite for now, suffice to say I have a pile of plans for 2026 for the site that I will share with you as they are close to release right here.

The first Sunday In-Quiz-ition uploaded to Facebook & YouTube (yep, I was a day late in the end π€£).
Loving the new format and I think that focussing on 1 main quiz each month will give me more time to spend on a few of my other projects for this year;
1οΈβ£- Upload all of the 2025 Facebook/YouTube quizzes to the website for easier access to play along with last years stuff.
2οΈβ£- Start to organise, tweak and record a full website archive of ALL previous material dating back to 2020 (that I have left), which is around 200ish quizzes. This is 100% at least a 2026/2027/ish task!!
3οΈβ£- Get working on building up the specialist category quizzes for the website to give a bigger range of choice to help people enjoy what matters most to them (suggestions always welcomed).
4οΈβ£- Prepare the first 3 months of the Stories with Simon Podcast content and get at least 6-10 episodes in the bag by the end of the month ready for a February start.
5οΈβ£- Get the next run of Pip & Pepper stories fleshed out a bit and actually finalise the 4 or 5 I have sort of written, with time to work on at least the next 5 in the series. The ultimate aim it to try and get them in e-Book format (or risk it with an actual book) by the end of the year.
6οΈβ£- Try to get my head around what I have been promising myself I would do since early 2021....actually spend some time compiling and preparing my very own quiz book!!! Could this finally be the year...I start it π€£)
