Well, what happened to February!!! It lasted about 5 days.
March Sunday Quiz all sorted and ready to land tomorrow over on Facebook & YouTube.
The Disney Special released and lots more great website stuff being worked on too.
If all that wasn't enough, I have also started early planning for a new Podcast series that I originally planned to replace Trivial Tuesday but now think I will run alongside it as it's going to be different enough whilst still retaining all the questions, facts and positivity but in a fun new way.
3 live in person events already lined up for this year and all relevant info and stuff will be shared once dates and stuff is set in stone.

Tuesday 10th February 2026

Got all of the February Trivial Tuesday episodes uploaded and ended up working on a new Millionaire special. Really pleased with it and expect to do a few of these a year as a fun way to do a general knowledge quiz. Planning on this on for early March but knowing me, I'll probably release it sooner. Nearly got the Disney special all sorted (just one more recording to do). Thought I would look at also doing another Catchphrase special or two and ended up creating a new master slideshow for this one too.

Well, I figured that's enough for a couple of days....yeah, though I should maybe do some planning for a live actual me in person quiz landing about half way through the year...and that's the first two rounds written, animated, answers prepped and ready and looking pretty dang sharp. Looking forward to this one as it's in aid of an incredible local cause which can be found on out In Support page. The Liam Muckle event is going from strength to strength and can't wait to see everything the team have lined up for this year.

I will have a full programme for the rest of February, all of March and April out in the next week as well as a general what's coming for the rest of 2026 as it currently stands...before I add even more great and did I mention FREE content to the site an social channels.

Friday 6th February 2026

Finally got the the big Disney Special written and ready to record for release later in the month. Also got the full 2025 Trivial Tuesday Podcast archive uploaded to the site (Podcast - Archives) and a section ready for 2026 too, which I will probably upload each month.

Plenty planned for the next few months with a few reposts of existing quizzes on Social Media to help drive a little extra traffic along with plenty of new goodies as well.

Next big quiz job will the the Harry Potter Movies, The Hobbit Movies and the Star Wars Trilogy errr trilogy all for release in the second half of 2026.

Already planning for a couple of live with real people quizzes in July and November and as always I will have a full and fun festive line-up ready for the end of the year as well.

🤣Tuesday 27th January 2026

A slight delay to the Return of the King quiz will see it land by this weekend (c'mon, you know I love the odd delay 🤣)

On a brighter note.... the DISNEY SPECIAL is fully written and ready for recording. Breaking it down into a four parter to avoid watcher burn out.

Looking to release them over the course of a few days towards the end of February unless I get them recorded and finalised a little sooner.

Prepping the final touches for the February podcast episodes as well ready to record and upload for release over the month.

Lots lined up for the next few months as well as my ongoing (mammoth) task of getting all past quizzes added to the archive folder ready for release.

Thursday 15th January 2026

The second Lord of the Rings movie trilogy all sorted and ready for recording and release on Monday 19th January.

Put out a wee announcement for a Disney Special for late February/early March so, as I have the February Sunday In-Quiz-ition written as well as the rest of January content ready for release that will now be the main focus alongside preparing the February episodes of Trivial Tuesday.

Really feel that having just one Facebook/YouTube (which also goes onto the website anyway!) quiz per month is giving me a better use of time to grow the website content as well as work on more stories from Pip & Pepper. I am even remembering to keep adding to the blog...see how long that lasts 🥴.

The quizzing just keeps getting more bountiful! 

Planning well underway for the February In-Quiz-ition where it is quite possible that love could be in the air alongside a land where the sun rises?

Website content continues to grow after the release of South Park, Roald Dahl and Football team nicknames specials in the last few days.

Load upcoming for the remainder of the month. As well as reposts of our Friends, Simpsons and Retro Kids TV specials, you will also have a Game Show push as Blockbusters, Bullseye & Millionaire all get a repush of the original quizzes before the new editions start landing from March.

BUT - that is most certainly not all....our first SPECIAL SERIES since the Harry Potter books over a year ago finally launches on Monday 12th January with THE LORD OF THE RINGS (Movies). Each of the 3 quizzes is 20 questions and will cover a movie per edition.

That should be enough to whet your appetite for now, suffice to say I have a pile of plans for 2026 for the site that I will share with you as they are close to release right here.

Monday 5th January 2026

The first Sunday In-Quiz-ition uploaded to Facebook & YouTube (yep, I was a day late in the end 🤣).

Loving the new format and I think that focussing on 1 main quiz each month will give me more time to spend on a few of my other projects for this year;

1️⃣- Upload all of the 2025 Facebook/YouTube quizzes to the website for easier access to play along with last years stuff.

2️⃣- Start to organise, tweak and record a full website archive of ALL previous material dating back to 2020 (that I have left), which is around 200ish quizzes. This is 100% at least a 2026/2027/ish task!!

3️⃣- Get working on building up the specialist category quizzes for the website to give a bigger range of choice to help people enjoy what matters most to them (suggestions always welcomed).

4️⃣- Prepare the first 3 months of the Stories with Simon Podcast content and get at least 6-10 episodes in the bag by the end of the month ready for a February start.

5️⃣- Get the next run of Pip & Pepper stories fleshed out a bit and actually finalise the 4 or 5 I have sort of written, with time to work on at least the next 5 in the series. The ultimate aim it to try and get them in e-Book format (or risk it with an actual book) by the end of the year.

6️⃣- Try to get my head around what I have been promising myself I would do since early 2021....actually spend some time compiling and preparing my very own quiz book!!! Could this finally be the year...I start it 🤣)
